Someone Is Impersonating HireMoxie

We have become aware that an individual or group is impersonating HireMoxie and Sally Holland and contacting people regarding fraudulent recruiting and employment opportunities.

These communications are not coming from HireMoxie.

The individuals involved are using publicly available information about Sally and HireMoxie – including Sally’s name, photograph, professional background and HireMoxie branding – to make their communications appear legitimate.

How to Verify a Legitimate HireMoxie Message

Every legitimate email from HireMoxie will come directly from an @hiremoxie.com email address.

If you receive a message claiming to be from Sally Holland or HireMoxie from any other email domain, it is not from us.

Please look carefully at the actual sender email address – not just the sender name, signature, photograph or company branding. Scammers may copy our branding and publicly available information, but they are not sending from our official HireMoxie email domain.

Please Also Know:

• HireMoxie will never ask a candidate to pay money as part of the recruiting or hiring process.
• We will never ask you to purchase equipment, send gift cards, transfer funds, deposit checks and return money, or provide payment information to secure a position.
• We will not ask for banking information or other sensitive financial information during an initial recruiting conversation.
• An email containing Sally Holland’s name, photograph, phone number or HireMoxie branding does not mean the message actually came from us.
• The safest way to verify a communication is to confirm that the sender’s email address ends in @hiremoxie.com.

If you have received a suspicious email, text, phone call or other communication from someone claiming to be Sally Holland or a representative of HireMoxie, do not send money or provide financial or sensitive personal information.

If possible, please forward the original communication to us so we can document and report the fraudulent activity.

We are actively documenting these incidents and reporting the impersonation to the appropriate service providers and authorities.
